Creamy Avocado Pesto

  • 1 large bunch of basil
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ground pepper to taste


  • Remove basil leaves from stems. Combine all ingredients in food processor and pulse until creamy.
  • Serve over pasta or spiraled zucchini for a healthy alternative. Add cherry tomatoes for a pop of flavor and color
