Tempeh is rich in protein, more protein than our animal friends! 20 grams of protein per four ounce serving and 8 to 10 grams of fiber. Tempeh also has beneficial microbes for healthy digestive tract.

tempeh

rice wine vinegar

Braggs apple cider vinegar or tamari

TBSP
water

tsp
ground fennel seeds
(use a mortar & pestle or coffee grinder)
1
clove
garlic

TBSP
coconut oil
Instructions
Cut tempeh into cubes
In a shallow bowl (or pie plate) mix marinade ingredients together.
Add tempeh cubes and allow to marinate for minimum 10 minutes.
In a heavy skillet, sauce the tempeh i the oil on medium heat for 7-10 minutes (until golden & crisp).
Notes
Serve on top of a salad or as a protein with rice & veggies, or you can use in a wrap.
